CHAIRMAN SPEECH
It is a great privilege for me to extend a warm welcome on behalf of the Board of Directors and my personal behalf to introduce our Bank, Khardah Co-Operative Bank Ltd (KCBL) to each one of you.
Almost 91 years has passed since the present Bank came into existence in the year 1933. The Bank is now operating through its 2 (Two) branches spread over two municipal areas and two panchayat areas namely Khardah Municipality, Titagarh Municipality, Bandipur and Patulia Panchayat area in the district 24 Parganas, West Bengal. The Bank is committed towards the services for the development of rural and urban development by providing loans and financial assistance under various schemes and uplifting living condition of poor people.
At Khardah, Khardah Cooperative Bank Ltd. Probably the oldest bank in khardah, there are some Core Values we bring to work every day. The co-operative banking has been playing distinct and significant role in the process of socio-economic development of the region & whole country.
We thank to all our customers (Depositors, Share Holders & Borrowers) for their support & confidence shown by them to us. Our Bank is fully enabled on Core Banking Solutions between our branches. We are already on the ANY BRANCH transaction system. We are thankful to one and all who are connected directly or indirectly with our Bank.

The Bank ensures strict compliance of regulatory and other guidelines of RBI, Co-operative Department and other Regulatory Authorities. It is firm in its commitment to promote best corporate governance and strives to live-up to stakeholders expectations.
Dear Members/Depositors/Customers
As far as the small and medium Co-Op bank is concerned like us, in spite of limited resources and the continuous pressure from the big bankers like SBI, UBI and other Private Banks we are working banking business very successfully.
Our Bank’s performance is quite encouraging in spite of the challenging environment. The Bank has reached a milestone business level of Rs.6289.13 lakh. Deposits of the Bank crossed a level of Rs.56.54 crore, while overall credit scaled up to Rs.17.57 crore (as on 31-03-2019). The Bank has done quite well in many of the business segments including, retail lending, growth under CASA deposits gold loan disbursement, etc. Besides, the Bank has come out with various innovative products/services to give a better customer experience and accelerate the pace of growth.
Customers can access various facilities/services through the Application using net banking like checking the balances in all linked running accounts, transfer of funds within and outside the Bank to own/third party accounts using NEFT/RTGS.
Providing different products to meet various requirements of rural and urban customers and small entrepreneurs; Loans for House Building, House Repairing, Business, Four Wheeler purchase, Byke purchase, Gold loans etc. The Bank has been continuously innovating and ensuring customer delight through products and service enhancements.
With the fast up-gradation of Technology in Banking Sector we are trying to provide best services to our valued customers. Introduction of core Banking solutions, becoming member of National Financial Switch managed by NCPI, launching of RuPay, ATM Card by providing access through the ATMs across the country, providing customers NEFT/RTGS facility from its own platform, introducing Aadhaar Based Payment System for electronic transfer the benefits under various Government Sponsored Programmes directly to the beneficiaries’ accounts. The Bank’s object is improving the quality of service to the customers.
Finally, I express my sincere thanks and gratitude to all the shareholders of the Bank for having their faith and confidence in the Management. I also thank all the employees for their active involvement and contribution towards the growth of the Bank. Customers are the backbone of our organization. I sincerely thank our valuable customers for their continued support. I also owe my gratitude to the Reserve Bank of India and the Ministry of Co-operation, Government of West Bengal for their support and guidance in the effective functioning of the Bank.
I express my gratitude to all the customers and well-wishers for their support and faith on us which have always been a source of inspiration and strength for the Bank.
